This sky is frequently seen in Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage. That region of the Pacific Northwest is a rain forest where frequent rainfall produces the lush greens and silvery grays for which the Inside Passage is well known. These images have an Asian value that is reminiscent of the fine brushstrokes and attention to detail one frequently discovers in paintings so treasured by collectors or fine art.
About Susan Stephenson
A "real" camera, my first, I purchased more than 50 years ago. I didn't intend to become a commercial photographer, but simply to capture what extraordinary compositions I deemed captivating through my magic lenses. My images began to captivate my friends, grew in numbers, and finally admonished me to share my good fortune. I still consider my love of photography to be that of a humble traveler although I have sold and gathered a few kind, "official" kudos along the way.
